SMM Hamburg, one of the leading international trade fairs for the maritime industry, will take place from 1–4 September 2026, bringing together maritime professionals, technology providers and industry experts from around the world.
As part of the event, COLOSSUS consortium partners TecnoVeritas and ABB, will host an exclusive workshop dedicated to the next generation of autonomous maritime operations.
Taking place on Thursday, 3 September 2026, from 15:15 to 17:00 at Meeting Room A4.3, Hamburg Messe und Congress, the workshop will provide an opportunity for industry stakeholders to discover how autonomous and multi-domain technologies can contribute to safer, more efficient and more resilient port operations.
At the centre of the session will be the COLOSSUS platform, which integrates surface, aerial and underwater unmanned assets within a unified operational framework. By combining these different domains, the solution aims to support applications ranging from port security and operational efficiency to predictive maintenance.
Participants will also have a preview of the project’s upcoming Demo Days. The workshop will also go beyond the technology itself, addressing practical considerations such as deployment strategies and the commercial value it brings. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the leads and developers behind the solution.
