On May 5, the COLOSSUS consortium gathered in Athens, Greece, for its Second Project Meeting, bringing together representatives from all partner organisations to review progress and define the next steps of the project.
The agenda addressed advancements across all work packages, with discussions centred on technical alignment and coordination as the project enters its integration and demonstration phase. A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to preparing the upcoming demonstration activities, where partners reviewed the full scope of COLOSSUS use cases, from integrated perimeter surveillance and intrusion detection to underwater inspection and docking support operations.
The first use case received particular attention, with discussions focusing on how to effectively demonstrate its core capabilities, including coordinated autonomous platform navigation and real-time data integration through the COLOSSUS web platform, in a way that is clear and relevant for end users.
The meeting reinforced a strong sense of shared direction across the consortium, confirming that the project remains on track as it moves toward real-world application.
